ISRO chief laments India's lag in core IT product development
Isro chairman S Somanath expressed concern over India's position in core technology development within the IT sector. Speaking at the foundation stone laying of 'Cyber Nalanda', a new cybersecurity R&D centre by SISA, he emphasized India's success in IT services but highlighted its shortcomings in creating indigenous software products and stressed the need for robust cybersecurity measures.
