Illegal electric fence in Chennai backyard snuffs out 2 lives
Two youngsters, aged 27 and 20, were electrocuted by an illegal 440-volt electric fence in an agricultural field near Pallipattu, Chennai. The field owner, Govindasamy, was detained for inquiry by the police. Tangedco officials emphasized the illegality of such fences.
