Vexed with getting spam emails that contain text inside an image? It might soon be a thing of the past as researchers at the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIIT-H) have been working on creating a system that can read and recognize information that is in the form of an image, such as a scanned document or a picture of a street sign.
