India ended their T20 World Cup campaign with a comprehensive nine-wicket victory over Namibia on Monday.
The win ensured India signed off from the tournament on a high, while also ending Virat Kohli's reign as T20 captain and Ravi Shastri's tenure as head coach on a positive note.
Opting to field, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin were clinical as usual, returning with figures of 3/16 and 3/20 respectively with the former bagging a second consecutive Player of the Match award.
Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul then struck blistering half-centuries during the chase of the 133-run target as the Men in Blue romped home with 28 balls to spare, finishing third in the group.
Earlier on Sunday, Pakistan beat Scotland by 72 runs to top Group 2 in the Super 12 stage of the T20 World Cup. Before that, New Zealand sealed their berth in the semi-finals while knocking India out with an eight-wicket win over Afghanistan.
Babar Azam top-scored with 66 off 47 balls while Mohammad Hafeez smashed 31 off 19 balls and Shoaib Malik 54 not out off 18 balls as Pakistan posted 189 for four.
Scotland could only manage 117 for six in 20 overs.
