Hyderabad turning into surveillance city: Amnesty
Hyderabad is on the brink of becoming a total surveillance city. Extensive surveillance is putting human rights at risk, Amnesty International has said in a statement, bringing sharp focus on CCTV camera network and the facial recognition technology (FRT) of Telangana police. It also raised serious security concerns over the upcoming Command Control Centre (CCC) at Banjara Hills.
