Every time we have the opportunity to practice, we try to implement what we've learned from previous mistakes. We work hard.

Having played a few IPL games here, we've seen a bit of movement from the ball, so we weren't really surprised tonight. 

We played one game in Dubai, but from what I can tell, this pitch looks the best. There's some good bounce, good skid, the ball just takes off at times.

Anrich Nortje's been in good form for so long, I'm so glad to be working with him.

Nasum to bowl his second over. Rassie van der Dussen works it past long-on, who makes a valiant effort to prevent the boundary. The South Africa duo run three. Wide and dot follow, before Bavuma awkwardly manages to lift a shot over backward point for FOUR! Single and then Rassie van der Dussen's turn to go big, he went down the track and lifted it over the wide mid-on region for FOUR! Oh, catch! Very well done Shoriful Islam, it was a tough catch and he's held on to it just about. Van der Dussen is OUT! Too little too late for it to matter much probably.

Soumya Sarkar to bowl his first over. Two singles, a dot and another single in the first four delivers, and then Bavuma hits a boundary! It's hammered straight down the ground and over the bowler's head, one bounce and over for FOUR! Dot to end the over.

Shoriful Islam to bowl his final over now. He's been very economical so far, can he finish off with a wicket? Single off the first ball. Oh nice work by Temba Bavuma, worked through the gap past mid-on and then he runs three. Despite the loss of wickets, South Africa are still well on course to wrap this up with a few overs to spare. Taskin Ahmed to bowl the last over of the powerplay. All things considered, it's actually been a pretty decent powerplay for Bangladesh. He begins with a dot, single and dot. Oh, four byes there, that was a huge seamer and the sheer movement of it was enough to outfox both batter and keeper. OUT! Taskin Ahmed strikes and Bangladesh are actually making a game of this! Aiden Markram tries a defensive shot, but it picks up a healthy edge and slip fielder Mohammad Naim takes a good catch. Dot to end the over.

Taskin Ahmed to bowl the first over, and he starts with a wide. Quinton de Kock and Hendricks out for SA. Single and dot follow, and then Ahmed is absolutely convinced he's picked up a wicket here. He appeals loudly for LBW but the umpire isn't having it. Oh nicely played, punched into the offside past extra cover by Hendricks, that's FOUR! Dot and then OUT! Taskin has the early breakthrough, Hendricks is out! Beats the inside edge and traps him LBW, finger goes up straight away.

Anrich Nortje to bowl the penultimate over. OUT! Caught and bowled, that was too easy for Nortje! Mahedi Hasan hits it straight up into the air and Nortje sprints to take the catch. Another wicket! Nasum Ahmed takes out his own stumps, that's hit wicket and Bangladesh are bowled out for 84! It's been an excellent bowling performance from South Africa, and it was helped to a huge extent by some terrible batting from Bangladesh. South Africa should be able to chase this down easily enough.

Liton Das appears to miss the ball by a hair, and it clatters into his pad. The umpire raises the finger right away. Liton reviews, but there's no bat involved, it's out LBW! Single and two dots to end the ball.

A third over now for Maharaj. His two overs in the powerplay were quite good, can he add to that with a wicket now? Dot and a single to start. Liton das is probably Bangladesh's best bet at the moment, but he's been scoring at a snail's pace. Two dots, two singles to end.

Dwaine Pretorius to bowl his second over, and he's got a wicket! Afif is gone on his very first delivery as Pretorius uproots the stumps, it was a horrible bit of batting from Afif. South Africa are cruising here. Two dots and a single follow. The loss of wickets is not the only problem for Bangladesh. They're also barely scoring any runs. Dot and single to finish.

Anrich Nortje has his wicket! Mahmudullah was done by a shorter delivery, which he pushes into the hands of Markram at point. There's a review to see if it came off the shoulder. Nope, touched the glove, it's out!

Kagiso Rabada to bowl his second over. Four singles and a wide to start. OUT! Kagiso Rabada strikes! Mohammad Naim's a goner, he hit straight into the hands of Hendricks at midwicket! Oh, OUT again! Rabada strikes twice in two balls! His delivery appears to hit Soumya Sarkar's boot before landing on the bat. The umpire signals not out, but SA review, and are rewarded as replays show a nick off the boot, that's LBW!

Kagiso Rabada to bowl now. Dot to begin, and then Liton unleashes an inch-perfect drive through the covers for FOUR! Very nicely done, used the pace of the ball to his advantage. Single and two dots follow, before Rabada lets out a huge shout for LBW! That looked close, but the umpire doesn't think it's out. South Africa let the review timer run down, they're not challenging it.

South Africa look to strengthen semi-final chances against Bangladesh

High on confidence after two consecutive victories, a rejuvenated South Africa will now look to strengthen their semi-final hopes when they meet a struggling Bangladesh in a Group 1 Super 12 match of the T20 World Cup on Tuesday.

South Africa have emerged as strong contenders to qualify for the semifinals after the wins over West Indies and Sri Lanka. They sit second in the group, ahead of Australia on net run rate (both teams have 4 points).
