With Dean Elgar (46*) and Rassie van der Dussen (11*) batting, their score reads 118/2 (Target 240). So far, Shardul Thakur and R Ashwin have taken a wicket each this innings, and come Day 4, the Indian bowlers will have their task cut out. However, it's another blow for India just before lunch as Ashwin is caught by Verreynne off a shortened length ball. Ashwin was looking to flick it but missed it eventually. Shardul Thakur is the new batter and he scores a boundary to get off the mark.

Rabada continues after the drinks break. Rahane collects a boundary towards deep extra cover fence. Jansen narrowly misses out on saving that boundary, while he initially looked to have saved the ball, he later clashed with the advertisement hoarding. Bavuma rushed in for support but he was late by then. Proteas first big moment today as Rahane is edged and caught by Verreynne in the last ball of the over. Olivier continues the next over, there's an appeal for LBW against Pujara, he's given NOT OUT, and despite a South African review, decision stands. There's no bat involved, but the impact is outside off.
