HD Kumaraswamy accuses Lulu Mall promoters of power theft, land grab
Former Chief Minister and JD(S) State President HD Kumaraswamy has accused the promoters of Lulu Mall in Bengaluru of power theft and land grab. Although he did not mention anyone specifically, it is believed that his target was Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, who has stakes in the mall. Kumaraswamy called for an investigation into the matter and demanded an explanation regarding the high-tension line going underground. In response, Shivakumar dismissed the allegations and stated that the land belonged to a central government organization. He also offered to provide details of power bills paid for the mall, a padayatra, and a cultural event.
