Goan artist FN Souza’s ‘Girl in a Yellow Sweater’ sets a record, goes for Rs 14.4 crore in rare auction
A rare painting by Goan artist F N Souza, ‘Girl in a Yellow Sweater’, was sold to a secret art collector for Rs 14.4 crore at an auction, while fellow Goan artist Antonio Xavier Trindade’s painting titled ‘La Source’ fetched Rs 73.2 lakh, setting a world record for the artist’s work.
