Goa: ‘Wiping out wild mushroom will trigger a bio disaster’
Microbiologist and expert on wild mushrooms, Nandakumar Kamat has called on the state forest department to declare Termitomyces heimii as the state wild mushroom of Goa. The species is among the most exploited and there is a need to conserve it, Kamat said.
