Goa: Plastics under 75 microns to be banned from September 30, says minister Nilesh Cabral
The Union environment ministry on Thursday issued a notification which will begin the process of banning single-use plastics across the country. The complete ban will come into effect from July 1, 2022. But single-use plastics will be banned in phases starting with bags under 75 microns from September 30.
