Goa: Curti-Khandepar villagers revive five water bodies, inspire a govt scheme
Over the past three years, the villagers of Curti-Khandepar panchayat united to bring back to life as many as five community ponds, choked to death with waste and silt. For the most part, if the work required was minor, locals didn’t even bother waiting for government funds to be sanctioned.
