Girl deposes via video from abroad, accused gets 3-year jail for harassing 14-year-old on Doha-Bengaluru flight
Amawasai Murugesan, a 51-year-old public relations officer from Tamil Nadu, was sentenced to three years in prison by a special court in Bengaluru for sexually harassing a 14-year-old girl on a Doha-Bengaluru flight. The girl testified via video conference. Murugesan was fined Rs 10,000 and intends to appeal the conviction.
