End to 8-day ordeal: Golden jackal with head stuck in plastic jar rescued in West Bengal
A golden jackal with its head stuck in a plastic container was rescued after eight days near the Damodar river by Howrah's forest department and local conservationists. It was weak but revived with ORS solution and chicken before being released back into its natural habitat.
