Cut fuel prices as promised, O Panneerselvam tells Stalin
In a statement, Panneerselvam said chief minister M K Stalin and the Centre should make efforts to cut the excise duties and bring the petroleum products under the GST. Since the DMK assumed charge on May 7, petrol price has gone up from Rs 93.17/litre to Rs 97.43/litre, diesel price has increased from Rs 86.65/litre to Rs 91.64 a litre, he said.
