Covid recovery rate now at 96.2% in Telangana

As Telangana recorded 1,492 new cases of Covid-19 and 13 deaths on Thursday, the number of active cases in the state touched 19,521. The total count of cases, since the beginning of the pandemic last year, now stands at 6,09,417 while the death toll is 3,534. There are 290 active containment zones in the state currently. Of these 10 are in Hyderabad, 109 in Nalgonda, 41 in Mahabubabad, 27 in Jagtiyal and 21 in Bhadadri Kothagudem.
