Cost escalation looms over pending irrigation projects
Karnataka is preparing to inaugurate the partially completed Yettinahole project, although rising costs are causing concern. While Rs 95,000 crore is needed to complete various water projects, only Rs 15,410 crore has been allocated. Prolonged delays and funding shortages are escalating costs, impacting numerous irrigation projects significantly.
