Contractor fined Rs 50 lakh for huge potholes on Mumbai's Santacruz-Chembur Link Road extension
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority fined J Kumar Infraprojects Rs 50 lakh for potholes on the BKC-LBS Marg flyover arm. An additional Rs 10 lakh per day fine will apply until repairs are completed. Notices were also issued to project consultants and MMRDA personnel. This is a recurring issue for the contractor on the same project.
