Church ropes in Jerry Amaldev to teach ‘real’ devotional music
The Sakthikulangara parish at St John de Britto’s Church in Kollam has enlisted the help of esteemed musician Jerry Amaldev to revive its devotional music. The Samaritans of Sakthikulangara and Yuvajana Sushrusha Samithi aim to restore the church’s original choir music and use musical lessons to encourage youth away from substance abuse.
