Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, after Nand Kumar Baghel's capture, said "no one is exempt from the rules that everyone else follows in my administration, regardless of whether he is the Chief Minister's kid father."

New Delhi: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel's dad Nand Kumar Baghel was captured today and shipped off 15 days in guardianship for supposedly offering critical comments against Brahmins. His attorney said he didn't demand bail and would show up under the watchful eye of a court again on September 21.

After his dad was charged in an FIR, the Chief Minister had focused on that nobody is exempt from the rules that everyone else follows.

"No one is exempt from the rules that everyone else follows in my administration, regardless of whether he is the Chief Minister's kid father. As Chief Minister, I have the obligation to keep up with congruity among various networks. In the event that he said something against a local area, I am grieved. The lawful move will be made," Bhupesh Baghel told correspondents on Sunday.

"Everybody thinks about my philosophical contrasts with my dad. Our political considerations and convictions are unique. I regard him as his child, however, as Chief Minister, I can't excuse him for such mix-ups which upset public request."

Mr. Baghel likewise underlined that the Chhattisgarh government "regards each religion, rank and local area and their feeling", and gives equivalent significance to everybody.
