Chennai’s test positivity rate dips to 15% in 7 days

As Chennai continues to see a dip in Covid-19 cases and its test positivity rate dropped by nearly 6 percentage points in a week, the number of active cases across Tamil Nadu, too, fell for the first time in 84 days on Friday. The number of active cases, which has been on the rise since March 6, fell to 3,12,386 on Friday from 3,13,048 on Thursday.
