Calcutta high court's senior-most judge TS Sivagnanam appointed as acting chief justice
The Centre on Thursday appointed Justice T S Sivagnanam, the senior-most judge of the Calcutta High Court, as the HC acting chief justice. Justice Sivagnanam was born in 1963. In 1986, he enrolled as a lawyer with the Tamil Nadu Bar Council. He became a judge in 2009 and was made a permanent HC judge in 2011.
