Bengal daily Covid case-rise drops to four-figure count
Fresh Covid cases in Bengal fell to a four-digit figure (9,424) on Tuesday after more than a month, during which daily cases had consistently remained in excess of 10,000 and threatened to breach the 20,000-mark, before restrictions were announced to rein in the numbers.
