What a victory for the Scorchers. At one stage they were 25/4 batting first. Then Evans and Turner launched a stunning counter-attack to propel them to 171/6. The Sixers lost openers early and kept losing wickets regularly which never gave them the momentum. The variety in Scorchers' bowling attack stood out and that kept the batters guessing. Scorchers have beaten Sixers all four times they have met this season. That's some domination. DESERVED WINNERS. They topped the group stage table as well.

Another successful over for Scorchers. They are getting closer. Richardson cleans up Lyon with a fast and full delivery. Gives away just 5 runs.

Sixers are sinking fast. Tye gets two wickets in the over. One off the slower ball and one off the short one. He gives away just 2 runs and picks up two wickets in the over.

WICKETS! The slower one does the trick for Tye. Abbott departs. He then has Dwarshuis caught behind. Tye on a hat-trick. Abbott looks to swing across the line but mistimes it to deep mid-wicket. Dwarshius goes for the pull but ends up edging to the keeper. Two in two for Tye.

Another brilliant over for the Scorchers. Agar varies it nicely with his arm ball and the stock spinner. Abbott looks to go downtown off one but misses. There are just three singles. And then that run out of the set Hughes. 3 runs and a wicket off the over.

OUT! Hughes is run out. Lazy running. Sixers struggling at 77/6. Abbott gets an outside edge to short third man. They run through for a single. But Hughes isn't quick and lazily looks to drag his bat inside. He is sort of meandering. Marsh responds with a bullet throw and the keeper clips the bails off in a flash. Hughes is short.

What a brilliant over from Harzoglou. He varied his pace nicely. Slower, faster and then bowled his variations as well. Got the wicket of Avendano. There were three runs in that over, all WIDES!

A successful over for the Scorchers. Good comeback from Tye in that over. Hughes hits him for a FOUR first ball, with a pull to long leg. But then he bowls a dot and gives a single off the next two. And then gets the WICKET of Christian. Just a single off the last two balls make it 6 runs and a wicket off the over.

OUT! Brilliant catch from Behrendorff. Christian departs. Tye gets the wicket. Short from Tye, Christian pulls it powerfully, but doesn't get the elevation. Behrendorff at deep mid-wicket dives forward and takes a brilliant catch. And in process has his finger hurt.

A good come back from Agar. Henriques smashes the first ball over extra cover for a four. But then Agar bounces back and gets his man as he traps Henriques LBW. Another decent over for the Sixers. Hughes went for the pull first ball but got a top edge which fell short of the short fine leg fielder. They took a single. Bertus then took a single. Hughes then cracked one through cover-point for  FOUR. He then drove one straight down the ground for a couple before pulling one to deep square leg for another two. The last ball is a dot. 10 runs off the over.

A decent over for Sixers. Bertus tried to take the aggressive route in that over. He looked to loft one over mid off but mistimed it over the fielder for a couple. Then didn't quite connect his pull off the middle and got a single to deep mid-wicket. Hughes then drove one down the ground nicely for three. Bertus then clips the last two deliveries to the leg side for a couple of twos. 10 runs off the over.

A successful over from Behrendorff. He bowls a dot first up and then gives a single. He then gets the wicket of Kerr off the next. There is a huge LBW shout against Hughes turned down as well. He finishes off with two dots. There was a WIDE in between. But just two runs and a wicket off it.

A good start from Richardson. He was disciplined and bowled on those good lengths. Bertus is lucky to be still out there. Would have been run out off the fifth ball if the point fielder had scored a direct hit as they ran through for a risky single. 4 runs off the over.

Perth Scorchers post 171/6. Remember, they were 25/4 at one stage. A decent finish to the innings. After a WIDE and a DOT. Evans smashes the next one over deep cover for a thumping SIX. A couple of singles follow. Evans then whips one to deep mid-wicket for a couple. Evans swings one to long on but doesn't connect it well and they scamper through for a couple. 13 runs off the final over.
