The state’s recent data shows currently around 2,083 CCCs are functional, down from 2,589 in August. When the second wave was picking up pace in April, the state had 2,220 CCCs, which had to be promptly scaled up to 2,626 by May. The state had recorded its peak active cases in the range of 6-6.9 lakh between mid-April and May.
