3 antique idols worth Rs 12 crore seized in Pondy
A team from Tamil Nadu idol wing CID raided an office of an art gallery in Puducherry town and seized three metal idols of gods worth Rs 12 crore in the international market on Wednesday. The team swung into action after receiving a tip that antique Hindu idols have been illegally kept in the office of an art gallery on Suffren Street in Puducherry.
