Rs 2000 crore plus riding on Bollywood in 2023- #BigStory
The year 2022 was a mixed bag of (mostly) shocks and surprises. While most of the big ticket films released in theatres like Bachchhan Paandey, Jersey, Runway 34, Heropanti 2, Dhaakad, Samrat Prithviraj, Shamshera, Laal Singh Chaddha tanked at the box office, few films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, The Kashmir Files, Brahmastra, and most recently Drishyam 2 sent the cash registers ringing and sent a cheer across the industry. While the theatrical releases saw a lull phase through most of 2022, finally there is a ray of hope that the Hindi film industry will revive its magic at the cinemas.
