Measles cases touch 260, spread to 12 Mum wards
Measles cases are now being reported from a dozen civic wards in the city, underlining the continuing spread of the contagious viral infection in slum pockets. Even as confirmed cases climbed to 260, the civic body began preparations to collect data on children aged between 9 months and 5 years who are to be given an additional vaccine shot. Experts are also believed to have agreed on providing an early shot to babies aged between 6 and 9 months.
