2300 killed, 5000 missing, flash floods wipe out quarter of Derna

According to Osama Ali, spokesman for the Tripoli-based emergency services, which has had a team in Derna since Monday, more than 5,000 people were still missing, and about 7,000 were injured by the force of floodwaters that raced down a normally dry river valley.
